Costco is helping Dayton Children’s Change Kids Health – May 1-31

For 35 years, Costco and its members have joined forces to raise more than $500 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. We know when we help fund medical treatments, equipment, and facilities, we ensure children live healthy, fulfilling lives and foster the scientists, inventors, artists, and leaders of tomorrow.

During the month of May, you can help to change kids’ health for Dayton Children’s Hospital! Shop online or in-warehouse at Costco, donate to help kids like Brody.

Brody and his mom stopped by to say thank you to Costco employees like Derek for their hard work!

Brody was diagnosed with craniosynostosis when he was two-years old. Craniosynostosis is a rare condition which causes intracranial pressure, meaning his skull doesn’t grow, but his brain does. Since his diagnosis, Brody has undergone 17 surgeries, three of which were major skull reconstructions.

But he doesn’t let his medical conditions stop him. Brody can easily be described as a “social butterfly” and loves playing soccer. Brody also serves as a Dayton Children’s ambassador where he shares his story.

Last year, Dayton area Costco employees and members donated more than $27,268 for kids treated at Dayton Children’s!

Children’s hospitals are on the frontlines to provide the treatments and cures patients desperately need, but they can’t do it alone. With partners like Costco along with its employees and members we see what the future can be and we’re working to make it a reality.  One way you and Costco are helping is by donating at the register to fund the most urgent needs of local children’s hospitals until May 31st.

With your help, we can change kids’ health to change the future right here at Dayton Children’s.
