Local Partner Highlight: Fox in Socks

In the Spring of 2019, members from Dayton Children’s Hospital Foundation met with Katie Hall, owner of Fox in Socks a local soap business, to talk about potential partnership. From that meeting a great partnership blossomed, including a line of soaps benefiting the hospital. Katie developed a four soaps named from popular children’s books that are specially formulated for children’s sensitive skin.  A portion of proceeds from these storybook soaps benefits life saving and life changing equipment at Dayton Childrens.

In November, Fox in Socks hosted a launch party where they collected books for kids in the hospital.  Just a few weeks ago, Katie stopped by the hospital to donate the books, goodie bags and the small businesses first donation – over $500!  Many thanks to Fox in Sock for their partnership.  Storybook soaps can be purchased at Fox in Sock at the Second Street Market.
