William’s Lemonade Stand

Patient ambassador William put his entrepreneurship skills to the test earlier this month with his very own lemonade stand! Lemonade Day is a program that works to teach these skills to kids and encourages the student to spend a little, save, and donate. William has Sickle Cell Anemia, so he decided to donate a portion of proceeds to provide other families gas cards to get back and forth to appointments.

William and his parents set up outside of the Miller Lane Sam’s Club to sell homemade lemonade and treats as customers wrapped up their shopping trips. He even hopped a ride to his stand in a shiny Corvette thanks to supporters at Woolpert!

William finished out the day by raising over $1,540 in to support kids just like him at Dayton Children’s Hospital. THANK YOU WILLIAM!

And thanks again to our friends at Miller Lane Sam’s Club and Woolpert for their support in making this event a success!
