Are you a social media star?

Giving Tuesday is right around the corner and we need YOUR help! We are looking for employees who are social media savvy to take part in our #GivingTuesday challenge. Giving Tuesday is a fun way to get involved and help are raise money for child life, needy patient fund, and mental health services.

What exactly is #GivingTuesday?

#GivingTuesday takes place on November 27, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. After the big push for holiday shopping on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. Over the last several years #GivingTuesday has brought in more than $75,000 in charitable donations to Dayton Children’s!

This is our year-end fundraising extravaganza, and we want our employees to be a part of it! You can join as an individual or as a team to raise funds for the area of your choice in the hospital.

Do you LOVE social media?

Do you have tons of online friends and followers? You would be a GREAT #GivingTuesday champion!

Champions will be asked to use social media, email, word-of-mouth or any other means to raise money for the hospital!

To sweeten the pot, the team that raises the most money between Black Friday and #GivingTuesday will have an extra $1,000 donation given to their area pf choice! How cool is that?

#GivingTuesday Champions will be asked to:

1.Sign up online as an individual or a team
2.Share your personal fundraising page via email, word of mouth and social media between Black Friday and #GivingTuesday (Nov. 23-27)
3.Follow, like and share Dayton Children’s social posts on #GivingTuesday
4.Have fun with the challenge! Post photos, #Unselfies and videos about why you’re participating, and inspire others to do the same!
