Help Get Behind the Half Billion at Costco this Year

Knowing that children’s hospitals are underfunded, Costco, its members and employees are making a difference by fundraising. They are changemakers whose impact to change kids’ health isn’t just about helping those in critical situations—it’s also about the research, preventative care, health and safety education and other support services that help build healthier communities today and tomorrow.

During the month of May, you can help us reach the $500 million milestone to change kids’ health! When you shop online or in-warehouse at Costco, make a donation to help kids like William.

William was born with sickle cell disease. It causes sickle shaped cells to stick together and block small blood vessels. This stops blood from moving as it should, which can lead to pain and organ damage and increase the risk of infection.

William doesn’t let this get him down! He created a comic book to share with other kids about sickle cell disease, helping them overcome their fears.

The Costco fundraising campaign runs through May 31 where funds stay local to directly help kids in our community. Costco has been a national CMN partners since 1988. The Dayton market’s first warehouse opened in 2015. Since then, this one location, through its dedicated employees and members have donated more than $193,000 for kids treated at Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Costco’s societal impact has transformed patients’ and families’ lives. Through donations collected during the annual campaign, hospitals are able to provide treatments and healing that patients desperately need today [or insert specific impact Costco $$ funds at your hospital] so that they can fulfill their potential for tomorrow—ultimately having ripple effects that positively impact our communities and our world for years to come.

Thank you for becoming a changemaker and donating today to help reach the $500 million milestone. When we change kids’ health, we change the future – for all of us.
