Love’s Fuels the Vision to Change Kids’ Health through Sept 29

Love’s Travel Stops wants to help Dayton Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals transform kids’ and families’ lives in the future. Children’s hospitals are at the frontlines when it comes to protecting kids’ health. But they can’t do it alone. Not only does Love’s Travel Stops provide fuel to customers, including those who move consumer products that impact society, but they also change kids’ health.

When you are visiting your local Love’s in Dayton, Springfield, Bellefontaine, Sidney or Richmond, IN through September 29th, you can buy a balloon for $1, $5, $20 benefiting your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Dayton Children’s.

Donations help local member hospitals provide services like child life, pet therapy, music therapy and more to help kids cope under stressful situations. Through these donations, Dayton Children’s can provide treatments, therapies and healing patients desperately need today so that they can fulfill their potential for tomorrow. Patients like Carah!

Meet Carah, one of Dayton Children’s patient ambassadors! Diagnosed with Child Onset Fluency Disorder, or stuttering, Carah started speech therapy at age 3. Although she endured bullying and felt self-conscious, her mom always told her: “You are perfectly made.” It wasn’t until Carah was in 8th grade that she found the care she needed at Dayton Children’s, and she started to believe her mom’s inspirational words. She even gave a speech in front of her whole school and now educates her classmates on speech disfluency. She says that she may be nervous, but if she can help one child being bullied or convince one bully to change their ways, it is all worth it!
