Speedway® is Helping Dayton Children’s Change Kids’ Health March 16 – 19

Speedway®, part of 7-Eleven, Inc., is fueling miracles for kids and their families at Dayton Children’s, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, March 16 -19. It is important that member children’s hospitals have the support they need to help kids receive the best possible care.

This weekend, stop in your local Speedway® store and donate to fuel miracles and change kids’ health. Your donation will make a difference in the community by raising funds for Dayton Children’s to improve medical treatments, equipment and facilities along with provide child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays. These funds allow Dayton Children’s to address the most challenging health issues our patients face today and prevent and prepare for those to come.

Dayton Children’s patient ambassador, Lexi Ward

Patients like Lexi. When Lexi was told she would need surgery to treat her scoliosis, her mom- a nurse – knew that spine surgery could mean a long, hard recovery. But Lexi was a good candidate for a new procedure called ApiFix. Just two hours after major surgery Lexi was walking, talking, and smiling! She went home the next day and now, one year later, there’s nothing she can’t do, including playing softball and basketball! The ApiFix procedure was made possible thanks to the support of partners like Speedway! Watch Lexi’s story here.

Speedway has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for more than 30 years and has raised more than $10.5 Million locally for Dayton Children’s. Their support has brought joy and healing to kids treated in the hospital in many ways and they understand children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. This is why Speedway, their generous customers, vendor partners and associates raise critical funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to foster the leaders of tomorrow.

Thanks to you and Speedway in the Dayton area for helping change kids’ health to change the future at Dayton Children’s Hospital.
