Speedway Weekend Push to Fuel Miracles

Being Dayton Children’s top fundraising Children’s Miracle Network partner doesn’t happen overnight. It also doesn’t happen over one weekend, but a weekend can sure help and change some lives along the way! Every time you’re asked to make a donation at a Speedway register or when you drop your change in the canister on the counter, you are helping children in our region- and when you stop into one of the 92 locations in the Miami Valley over the weekend of October 25-27, you can almost guarantee you’ll be asked to give.

That’s because beyond the typical, year-round fundraising that Speedway does for Dayton Children’s, they are pushing for donations to “Fuel Miracles” for three days- this coming weekend. Donations from this weekend will help supply a coloring book to a patient in the hospital. It’s not fun or entertaining to be in the hospital, but with activities provided by our child-life department, like these coloring books, it can be a little better.

So be sure to fuel up your car with gas and yourself with snacks and drinks at Speedway this coming weekend and make a donation to help kids being treated at Dayton Children’s.
