Gaming for Good at GameStop

We are proud to partner with GameStop and want to take a moment to recognize the immense impact made at Dayton Children’s Hospital in 2021. More than $5,674.34 was raised to provide life-saving and life-changing equipment, services, and care for local kids.

And, GameStop is continuing to stand firm with children’s health and asking you to round up your change to support GameStop Gives charity partners including Dayton Children’s this year. Stop by your local Dayton area location today to round up!

By partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, GameStop is helping transform how we meet the urgent needs of kids. Kids can’t wait for a cure. Kids need our help, now.

Thank you, GameStop, for making a tremendous difference in the lives of kids like Adriel.

In September of 2020, Adriel began treatment for acute myeloid leukemia, associated with a high-risk genetic mutation that increases the chances of recurrence after treatment. Adriel is now over a year out from his transplant and in remission from his leukemia, after having chemotherapy at Dayton Children’s, followed by the two bone marrow transplants at Nationwide Children’s. Even while going through so much at a young age, Adriel has been able to continue being a fun-loving kid.

“We’ve been fortunate that Adriel has been able to continue to play all throughout his treatments. He loved to play with Nerf guns, going on little missions around the unit with his nurses when he was admitted. Adriel also loves video games, so they also set him up with a gaming system too. He never really stopped being him,” Adriel’s dad said.

Thanks to the support of partners like GameStop, kids like Adriel are able to get the life-saving care that they need!

Since 2018, GameStop has provided $11,014.64 in support for Dayton Children’s Hospital through point of sale campaigns, product donations, Extra Life and more.
