Local Walmart and Sam’s Club stores raise money for Dayton Children’s

Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers, and members are joining forces to raise money for the Dayton Children’s Hospital during their annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospital campaign from Monday, June 10, to Sunday, July 7.

Last year, Dayton stores raised over $171,000 and they are looking to raise even more this year! Money is raised primarily through a register campaign where customers and members contribute $1 or more when they checkout.

Money raised at the Dayton-area Walmart and Sam’s Club stores directly benefits the sick and injured kids treated at Dayton Children’s. Funds are used to pay for equipment, research, supplies, charitable care, and a variety of other needs that the hospital has.

Walmart and Sam’s Club have been fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1987 and last year they passed the $1 billion fundraising mark, the largest amount raised for a nonprofit.

We can’t thank our local Walmart and Sam’s Club stores enough for the support that they have shown to Dayton Children’s over their numerous campaigns. Every donation matters and we look forward to another successful campaign!
